Life is Now a Bit of a Highway!

Dear Mom and Dad,

It is incredibly late and I am sorry that I don't have much time. It
was an incredibly busy week and P-Day  wasn't really a P-Day!

I did get the Gustafson's envelope and a box from Uncle Randolph!!!
Thanks so much!

I drove to 5 of the 10 zones in the mission this week doing everything
from moving apartments to getting contracts signed, depositing checks,
and picking up the mail and packages. When I walked into the mail
office, the postmaster looked at my name tag and said "Alex Yost!!!
You get so many packages, so many more than everyone else!!!" Thanks
mom and dad!

Also, I'm sorry this is late, but Happy Birthday Dad!!!!!!

Driving in the Philippines is something else! The roads are one lane
and the roads are so incredibly tight. I unfortunately have already
put a ding on the truck, but President was really relaxed and
understanding about it and said that no one gets off without a ding or
two in the Philippines! I feel fine driving, but parking and making
the sharp turns are driving me nuts because I'm driving a Ford Ranger
truck and it's a little bigger than I'm used to and the turning radius
isn't great. I'll get used to it!!

By the way, thanks for those Christmas pictures!  Really, thanks everyone!!
We'll be able to Skype and I can call you here from the office. We're busy
right now burning the Christmas Zone Conference Slideshow DVD's right
now for Zone Conference this week. Our zone's day is this Friday, and
we'll just be in the office all by ourselves on the other days.

I love you, sorry this is really short, hopefully I have more
time next week!

Love,
Elder Yost
